The Phillies have made another managerial move in their minor league system. Now, the top two minor league clubs in the organization will have new managers for the 2011 season.

As it turns out, Steve Roadcap's first season as the manager of the Reading Phillies will also be his last season at the helm of the R-Phils. Roadcap was promoted after posting a 149-125 record in two seasons with the Lakewood BlueClaws.

It's possible that Roadcap will return to Lakewood, with the other potential destination being Clearwater. The one certainty is that Roadcap will remain with the organization and will likely manage at the single-A level.

Roadcap's reassignment means that the Phillies now have manager openings at both Triple-A Lehigh Valley and Double-A Reading. Lehigh Valley manager Dave Huppert was dismissed on the second-to-last day of the IronPigs season and was not offered another position within the organization.
