Millwood Joins Great Company With Historic Game

There's just something about the name Kevin. Phillies ace Kevin Millwood became the fourth player in Major League baseball history to throw a no-hitter against the San Francisco Giants. Millwood did so on Sunday April 27, celebrating the Phillie Phanatic's 25th birthday celebration in style. Millwood joins some great company, Kevin Brown and Kevin Gross, both of whom threw no-no's against the Giants.

The even greater club that Millwood joined on Sunday was that of Phillies who have hurled no-hitters in their careers. It's an exclusive club with only seven members, each of whom were the best pitcher in baseball for at least a day.
