The Phillies have been able to find some talent in Venezuela. Bobby Abreu is of course, the most noted Phillie to come out of Venezuela, but there are others coming along. Jean Machi is a young right-hander who shows lots of promise and the Phillies are glad that they were the ones to find Machi and bring him state-side. The early returns are very good. | |
