Ryan Madson’s chances of cracking the Phillies starting rotation seem to have disappeared with the arrival of Eric Milton. Now, Madson will come into spring training fighting for one of the two remaining bullpen spots. The Phillies though will face the age old question of whether they’re better off bringing Madson to the majors to fill a relief role or if they would be better off leaving him at AAA to get more work in the starting rotation. | |
