Prospect Scouting Report: Yoel Hernandez

Yoel Hernandez isn't the fanciest of pitchers. He's really pretty simple. He takes the mound and gives all that he can to get his team a win. It's all gone pretty well and Hernandez has put up decent numbers, except for his two quick stints at AAA. If he can make the jump to Scranton in 2005 and do it successfully, Hernandez will be well on his way to the majors.

Yoel Hernandez is one of the finds that have surfaced in the Phillies organization out of Venezuela. He is a strong right-hander with good abilities and has continued on a steady pace through the system.
