The Phillies didn't do a good job at holding a lead on Sunday as they allowed Cleveland to chip away at the Phillies lead and eventually win in the ninth, with a big five-run rally. Tim Worrell was hit hard in the ninth and suffered the loss. Chase Utley and Ryan Howard both had big days for the Phillies.

Tim Worrell simply self-destructed in the ninth inning of Sunday's loss to Cleveland. Worrell gave up four hits and a walk in an inning of work and the result was five runs for the Indians who beat the Phillies 9-7.

The big blow for Cleveland came when Travis Hafner smashed a three-run homerun in the ninth to bring the Indians all the way back and give them the win. It was the first homerun of the spring for Hafner.

The Phillies had trouble getting a key hit early. In the first two innings, they had seven hits - all singles - but could only push across two runs. Pat Burrell and Jim Thome both produced first inning RBI singles to give the Phillies an early lead.

Chase Utley finished the day with three hits and two runs scored, while Shane Victorino had two hits and scored two runs. Ryan Howard came up big, with a single, a double and his third homerun of the spring. Howard finished the day with three RBI.

Marlon Byrd went 1-for-1, but left the game after dislocating a finger on a pick-off play at first base. Doctors estimate that Byrd could miss up to two weeks of action.

Jon Lieber started and gave up seven hits and a walk over five innings. The Indians got to him for three runs, only one of which was earned. An error on Howard, who was playing at first base, resulted in the other two runs. Amaury Telemaco pitched one shutout inning, while Geoff Geary continued to struggle, giving up an earned run on three hits in his one inning of work.
