Andrew Carpenter made an impressive jump from the New York - Penn League in 2006 to the Florida State League in 2007 and showed that the Phillies made the right move.

In his first professional season in 2006, Andrew Carpenter simply dominated in both the Gulf Coast League and New York - Penn League. He had a combined ERA of 0.61 in five games between the two leagues.
