At least one member of the Phillies contingent will be leaving the Bellagio Casino with a win. Charlie Manuel was rewarded Tuesday with a contract extension that will carry him through the 2011 season. Manuel's original contract went through the 2009 season with a team option for 2010.
The financial terms of the deal weren't immediately released, but Manuel surely received a raise over the $1.7 million that his initial contract would have paid him for 2010.
