Michael Taylor has settled into life as a 'Pig and he's making the most of it all. Wednesday night, Taylor became the first member of the IronPigs to hit for the cycle and also set a number of other team records.

Michael Taylor is known for needing just a little bit of time to adjust when he moves from one level to the next. He seems to be fully adjusted to Triple-A now, thank you.

Taylor picked the perfect time to pick up the final piece of the cycle, a home run, launching one over the bullpens in left field to tie the IronPigs and Louisville Bats at 9-9 in the bottom of the ninth. Earlier in the game, Taylor had tripled, singled and doubled twice for Lehigh Valley and finished the night 5-5, helping Lehigh Valley pull out a 10-9 win in ten innings.

In their second season in existence, Taylor became the first Lehigh Valley player to hit for the cycle, the first to get five hits in a game and the first to record 12 total bases in one game.

In 27 games at Triple-A, Taylor now has four home runs, 15 RBI and is hitting .286 since arriving in Lehigh Valley on July 16. Splitting this season between Reading and Lehigh Valley, Taylor is now hitting a combined .322 with 19 home runs and 80 RBI. In his first 98 at-bats at Reading, Taylor had five home runs, 19 RBI and a .306 average, all just slightly higher than in his first 98 Triple-A at-bats.
