Prospect #45: OF Jason Crosland

		By PBN Staff Date: Dec 1, 2003 As the Phillies minor league system has gotten stronger over the past few years, most of the true prospects have been pitchers. The Phillies looked to improve their offensive prospects in the 2003 Draft, which wasn’t easy considering that they didn’t have a pick until the third round. Early, they went for speed, but addressed the need for power as the draft progressed. One of the picks that they’re looking at to provide power in the farm system in Jason Crosland.
