Biography:
The Phillies started their foray into the Far East by signing Seung Hak Lee and Il Kim as amateur free agents in 2001.

Lee has had ups and downs in his minor league career with the Phillies. He went a combined 11-8, 5.61 in 2003 at AA Reading and AAA Scranton. In 2004, Lee was assigned to AAA Scranton and finished the season 2-4, 4.57 for the Red Barons.

Lee can be a Rule V Free Agent in December of 2004, unless he is added to the Phillies 40 man roster.
