Ryan Howard smashed Greg Luzinski's Reading record of 33 homeruns in a season, belting 37 homeruns at AA Reading in 2004. He was promoted to AAA Scranton where he added another nine homeruns and then onto Philadelphia to hit two more.
After the season, Howard was voted the MVP of the Eastern League.
