Biography:
Rheal Cormier couldn't repeat his incredible performance of 2003, but the veteran southpaw was a solid workhorse for the Phils last season (4-5, 3.56 ERA). He appeared in 84 games, a franchise record for a left-hander, and the 38-year-old decided to delay retirement plans. If there is any concern, it is that Cormier's career renaissance came under erstwhile pitching coach Joe Kerrigan's instruction. Can he keep it together without Kerrigan around? We'll see.
