Traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks for infielder Matt Kata on July 21st.
Placed on the DL (psychological problems) May 6th.
Tim Worrell came to the rescue last season when Billy Wagner was sidelined. He racked up 19 saves although he didn't always provide an airtight lock on a lead the way Wagner typically does. Although Worrell is getting up in age (37), as a finesse pitcher there isn't much worry about a reduction in
effectiveness. |
