| Biography: |
| Originally drafted by the Phillies in the fifth round of the 2002 Draft and played his first professional season in the Gulf Coast League that summer. The Phillies traded him to Texas on April 1, 2006 in the deal that brought David Dellucci to Philadelphia. From there, Blalock played one season in the Rangers' organization before being released in the spring of 2007 and signing on with the Kansas City Royals where he played at AA Wichita until being released in July of 2007. The Phillies then signed him as a minor league free agent on July 16, 2007. |
