Kyle Lohse signed a new contract with St. Louis on 09/29/08 for four years, for a reported $41 million. According to the AP, it includes a $1.25 million signing bonus and salaries of $7,125,000 in 2009, $8,875,000 in 2010 and $11,875,000 in 2011 and 2012.

2008 Season Notes
In his first season in St. Louis, Lohse posted a team leading 15 wins, going 15-6 with a 3.78 ERA, 119 strikeouts and 49 walks. He made 33 starts and pitched a team high 200 innings, reaching the 200 innings milestone for the second time in his career.
Career Notes
The 6-2, 210-pound Lohse made his Major League debut for the Twins in 2001 and he strung together four straight seasons of 30 or more starts from 2002-05.
Owns a career 63-74 record and 4.82 ERA, winning 27 games with the Minnesota Twins in 2002-03.
