How he became a Phillie
Drafted by the Phillies in the first round (12th overall pick) of the 1999 Draft. Myers later signed a three-year, $25.75 million deal with the Phillies in February, 2007.
2008 Season
Went 2-9, 5.84 through June 27 before accepting an assignment to the minors. He made four minor league starts and returned to the Phillies rotation on July 23 and finished the season by going 7-4, 3.06 for the Phillies over the rest of the season.
