Biography:
How he became a Phillie
Signed a one-year, $900-thousand deal with the Phillies in December, 2007 after the Tigers had non-tendered him. Durbin was originally drafted by Kansas City in the third round of the 2006 Draft.

2009 Season
Placed on the DL on July 23 with a strained right latissimus.

2008 Season
Durbin adjusted well to pitching strictly out of the bullpen and posted a 5-4 record with a 2.87 ERA. He made a career-high 71 appearances.
