Drafted by the Phillies in the 20th round of the 2006 Draft.
2009 Season
Named the eighth best prospect in the Phillies organization by Philly Baseball News... Recognized by the Florida State League as their Player of the Week for the week of April 27-May 3rd, when he hit three home runs, had seven RBI and hit .462 while hitting safely in all six of the Threshers games... Suffered a broken finger on June 8 and was placed on the DL... Activated on July 17 and was promoted to AA Reading on August 1.
