| Biography: |
| The Phillies were actually the fourth different team to draft Michaels when they took him in the 4th round of the June 1998 draft. He was drafted previously by San Diego (1994), Tampa Bay (1996) and St.Louis (1997), but did not sign, preferring instead to stay at the University of Miami, where he was a teammate of Pat Burrell. Jason's Grandfather, John, played in the Cincinnati organization in the 1930s. |
