| Made his major league debut as a starting pitcher for the Orioles in 1987, posting a 1-3 record with a 6.03 ERA. Came back to the majors to stay in 1990, starting 42 games for the Orioles over 3 seasons before being traded to Cleveland. The Indians shifted him to the bullpen in 1994 and made him their full-time closer in 1995 when he saved 46 games and posted a 1.13 ERA. |
