| Threw a no-hitter and perfect game in consecutive starts as a high school junior. Was originally drafted by the Dodgers in the 26th round of the June 1994 draft, but didn't sign. Was then drafted by the Phillies in the 2nd round of the June 1997 draft and made his major league debut with the Phillies in 1999, making 21 starts going 6-9 with a 5.55 ERA. |
