P Tyler Cloyd: Gets promotion to Clearwater.

Tyler Cloyd, who went 7-3, 3.05 in 14 starts at Lakewood this season, has been promoted to High-A Clearwater by the Phillies.
Cloyd was drafted by the Phillies in the 18th round of the 2008 Draft and pitched in both the Gulf Coast League and New York - Penn League last season. The 22 year old right-hander threw one complete game this season at Lakewood and struck out 77 hitters in 88 2/3 innings of work for the BlueClaws. Cloyd's 88 2/3 innings of work have him second in the South Atlantic League in innings pitched, just 1/3 of an inning behind Charleston's David Phelps.
