Jonathan Pettibone (1-0, 0.56) overcame some shaky fielding that led to four unearned runs to record his first win of the season with Williamsport. The CrossCutters beat Batavia 10-7 and Pettibone threw five innings, allowing just one earned run to go with the four unearned runs.

One of the errors came on a bad throw by Pettibone, while Jeremy Barnes and Anthony Hewitt also committed errors. Barnes now has four errors in 11 games and Hewitt has made six errors in 11 games at Williamsport.

Barnes atoned for his error with a three-hit, four RBI game that included his second home run of the season.
