The Phillies have moved 24 year old right-hander Tyson Brummett to Triple-A Lehigh Valley. Brummett started the season in the rotation at Double-A Reading and went 2-8, 5.09 before being moved to the bullpen in late June. As a reliever, Brummett went 1-1 with one save and a 3.60 ERA in nine appearances.

Drafted by the Phillies in the seventh round of the 2007 Draft.

2009 Season
Started the season in the rotation at Double-A Reading and went 2-8, 5.09 before being moved to the bullpen in late June... As a reliever, Brummett went 1-1 with one save and a 3.60 ERA in nine appearances and was promoted to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on July 26, but returned to Reading five days later... Placed on the DL (right shoulder inflammation) on August 7.
