How he became a Phillie
Drafted by the Phillies in the 17th round of the 2002 Draft.
2009 Season
Started the season on the DL rehabbing from his second Tommy John surgery... Started his rehab on June 25 with the GCL Phillies and threw six innings without allowing an earned run... Was officially activated from the DL and assigned to Clearwater on July 15, where he pitched seven shutout innings - striking out nine - over five games before being promoted to AA Reading on July 29.
