How he became a Phillie
Acquired from the New York Yankees on July 30, 2006 along with C.J. Henry, Matt Smith and Jesus Sanchez for Bobby Abreu and Cory Lidle.
2009 Season
Threw a complete game (seven innings) shutout, allowing just three hits and one walk in his first start of the season on April 16... Went 5-6-2, 3.73 in 35 games (seven starts) with Clearwater before being promoted to Double-A Reading on September 1.
2008 Season
Named the 37th best prospect in the Phillies organization by Philly Baseball News.
