Black Solidifying Himself

TRENTON, NJ - The 2011 and 2012 seasons in the minor leagues for Sean Black haven't seemed as easy as it has looked for him so far in 2013. The last couple of seasons in Tampa have led to a compiled 8-15 record with a 7.02 ERA in 2011 and a 6.61 ERA in 2012. This year, the luck has turned for Black.

In 12 games with Tampa in this 2013 season, he was 2-0 with a 1.66 ERA and earned a call up to Trenton in the middle of June. "This year we made a lot of mechanical changes with myself," Black said.
